Debra Lee (Howe) Coutu was born on Christmas Eve, 1952 in Providence, Rhode Island to Frederick and Beverly (Haskins) Howe. She passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the age of 72 in Duncan, Oklahoma.

After graduating from Mount Pleasant High School in Providence, Debra went to work as a shipping processor for Koch Jewelry where she worked for 20 years. Debra married Normand Coutu. They raised two sons - Scott and Jamie. She enjoyed going out to eat. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Beverly Thomason. She is survived by her children: Scott and wife Cheri Coutu of Duncan, Jamie Coutu of Florida; grandchildren: George Metz, Paul Metz, Robert Metz, Felicia Mendoza, Levi Metz, Patric Metz; great grandchildren: Joseph Flynn, Nicholas Flynn, Ethan LaPlume, Julia Metz, Faith Metz, Serenitie Mendoza, Christian Metz, Gabe Metz, Genesis Metz, Ivy Metz, Skyla Metz, Roman Metz, Cameron Metz; and great-great grandchild, Adina Flynn. Other survivors include Frederick Howe, Patrick and wife Christine Howe, Tammie Howe, Cheryl Delfino, Kimberly Salgado and husband Mingo, Thomas Rainey and wife Charlene and children Laurie, Tommy, and Jessica, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
