Dee Anna Shipley Davis was child number 5 of 6 born to Bill and Flossie Shipley, on January 5, 1960, in Duncan, Oklahoma. She left this life on November 18, 2025, at 65 years of age while living in Greenville, Texas. She lived almost all of her life in the Duncan, Oklahoma area. She attended Liberty Elementary School and graduated from Comanche High School in 1978. Most people in Duncan probably knew her through her 30+ years of work at Don Creel State Farm Insurance Office as a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative.
Dee Anna loved traveling, crafting, sunsets skies, decorating, OU football, keeping up with the old neighborhood, and the simple things in life. Everyone who knew Dee knew of her passionate love of animals. She had two dogs that were 19 years old at her death, but she was also a caregiver for many cats in the neighborhood.
Dee Anna was married to Stanley Davis for over 30 years. He preceded her in death on October 28, 2025. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Bill, in November of 1999, and Flossie, in September 2004, as well as her brothers Randell, who died in June of 2020, and Carl who died in January of 2024.
Dee Anna is survived by three loving sisters, Donetta King, her husband Ron, Loveland, Colorado, Pauletta Cook and her husband Eddie, Greenville, Texas, and Meda King and her husband Larry, Castle Rock, Colorado. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and other family members, as well as countless friends.
Dee Anna was strong, brave, and kind. She loved, she was loved, and she will be missed. She made a difference in so many lives, and it didn't take her long to do so.
