Dee Ann Standridge Obituary
Dee Ann Standridge was born on April 6, 1962 to Melvin Curtis and Glenda (Chadwick) Curtis in Duncan. She passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at the age of 59.
A memorial service will be held at the Purple Pavilion at Fuqua Park on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 10:00 AM. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Dee Ann married her loving husband, Earl James Standridge, on June 20, 1997 in Duncan; they were married for 23 wonderful years before her passing. Dee Ann worked as a sales clerk for Duncan Food Mart for many years. She took great pride in her job and enjoyed working. She liked to visit with customers at the store. Dee Ann loved eating at Applebee's and liked collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. She enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing for bass and crappie at Fuqua Lake. Dee Ann loved spending time with her family whether being watching T.V. with her husband or just spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Dee Ann is survived by her husband, Earl Standridge of the home; her fur babies: Sammy and Jo Jo; two brothers: Gary Curtis and wife Connie of Duncan; Ricky Curtis and wife JoAnn of Empire; her brothers and sisters-in-law: Alton Standridge; Sherry James and husband Tom; Billy Standridge and wife Shari; Shelly Eldridge and husband Frank; MaryAnn Standridge; Dorothy Nunez and husband Chris; JR Kraus and wife Sandra; nephews: Ricky Curtis, Jr. and fiancé Meranda; Dustin Curtis and wife Michel; Jeremy Curtis; Brook Harvey and husband Rob; as well as sixteen other nieces and nephews, and four great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two nieces: Stephanie Standridge and Jordanne Standridge.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Stephens County Humane Society, PO Box 669, Duncan, Oklahoma 73534, in Dee Ann's honor.
