Obituary
Delbert Ray Musick was born in Burkburnett, Texas on April 14, 1941, to Charles Franklin and Ora Dell (Anderson) Musick. He passed away in Duncan, on Monday, August 7, 2023, at the age of 82.
A private inurnment service will be held at a later date in the Memorial Park South Woods Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Delbert was a line driver for Roadway Express for 42 years. He married Wilda Ann Witt on July 11, 2010, in Temple, Oklahoma. He enjoyed playing guitar, especially gospel music and also enjoyed watching football and other sports. He especially liked to watch Tennessee and OU football. He was involved in the Masonic Lodge and was Grand Master of the state of Tennessee in 2014. Most of all, Delbert loved to spend time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of the home; children: Leslie Dell Musick of Oxford, Mississippi, Melynda "Mindy" Gaye Duncan and husband Mark of Cordova, Tennessee; stepson, Danny Leath; grandchild, Lauren Stephens of Los Angeles, California; and brother, Billy Musick of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Delbert was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Lola Musick; brother, Levoy Musick; Sisters: Lavelle Antes and Pauline Bush.
