Delfina Johnson, of Marlow, Oklahoma, was born April 28, 1952 in Wayne, Michigan to Raymond and Clemencia (Rivera) Torres. She passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021, with her family at her side. She was 69.
A private family service is being planned. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center of Duncan.
Delfina attended Romulus Senior High School in Wayne County, Michigan. She married the love of her life, John Robert Johnson Sr., on February 13, 1971 in Wayne County. To this union four children - Lisa, John Robert Jr., Michael, and Chris - were born.
She was employed as a stocker at the local Homeland and Wal-Mart stores. She loved to quilt and worked word search puzzles. She was an avid reader of all types of books. Delfina's most favorite holidays were Easter and Christmas. She always was making Easter confetti eggs for everyone to use. She loved buying Christmas presents for her family and would shop year-round for her gifts. Her family was her most important asset and she loved them all.
Preceded in death by her parents and sister, Maria, Delfina is survived by her husband of 50 years, John Robert Sr.; children: Lisa and husband Ricky Witcher of Moore, John Robert Jr. and wife Bonnie Johnson of Edmond, Michael Ray Johnson, Chris and wife Christie Johnson of Choctaw; grandchildren: Brandon Johnson and fiancé Chelsey, Zac Johnson and fiancé Victoria, Miranda Witcher and fiancé Tylar, Haylee Witcher, Emma Johnson, John Robert Johnson III, Brady Johnson, Addison Johnson, Avery Johnson, Mason Johnson, Paighton Johnson, Brittani and husband Riley Fish, Jaylin Johnson, Brock Johnson; great grandchildren: Braylie Fish, Braiden Fish; brother, Ray Torres Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
