Devin Dually Waitman-Brewer

Devin "Dually" Waitman-Brewer, 32, of Oklahoma City, OK, went to his heavenly home on June 17, 2026. Born December 27, 1993, in Duncan, OK, he was the beloved son of David and Kandle Brewer.

Raised in Ryan and Temple, OK, Devin spent his youth fully immersed in community and school activities. He was passionate about sports and dedicated much of his time to FFA, showing pigs and a heifer. Devin made lifelong memories as a member of the Temple High School Class of 2012.

Devin had a special bond with his PaPa Bob and Granny Donna, who poured into his life and helped raise him throughout his middle school years and beyond. He loved working on the farm and attending church where PaPa Bob pastored. Devin's foundation of faith was laid early when he was saved and baptized at Ryan First Baptist Church; later he proudly rededicated his life to Christ at Crossbrand Cowboy Church. In the early days of the church, he was a faithful member of the praise band and played guitar.

With a tender heart and contagious smile, Devin genuinely loved people and deeply valued time with friends and family. Known for his intentional kindness, he went out of his way to make everyone feel included. Devin was a natural protector-often looked up to as a beloved big brother to his younger friends-and he always stood up for the underdog. He encouraged many and frequently shared advice from his own life lessons.

Devin is survived by his parents, David and Kandle Brewer of Iowa Park, TX; his wife, Lauren Gilliam Waitman of Oklahoma City, OK; his children: Adileen Jean Leonard-Waitman of Lawton, OK, Ky'Ella Palmer of Geronimo, OK, Lilly Mahan of Tuttle, OK, and Maijor Brewer of Iowa Park, TX; his brother, Conner Brewer and wife Lindsey of Chickasha, OK; his sister, Kamryn Ritz and husband Micah of Norman, OK; nephews: Tripp and Tucker Brewer; and grandparents: Donna Waitman of Duncan, OK, Willie Brewer of Iowa Park, TX, and Andrella Nicholson of Hattiesburg, MS; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by PaPa, John Robert (Bob) Waitman; Nanny, Dorothy Brewer; and cousin, Marcus Waitman.

Devin and PaPa Bob's favorite Bible verse was Jeremiah 29:11.

The family will receive visitors at Whitt Funeral Home in Duncan on Wednesday, June 24, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. A funeral service for Devin will be held Thursday, June 25, at 11:00 AM, in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Kunkel and Ricky Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, OK. Serving as pallbearers are Gary Waitman, Bobby Waitman, Bradley Waitman, Darrell Reid, Darren Lamar, and James Helloms.
