Donald Eugene Poucher was born September 24, 1953 to Joseph and Eavlyn (Zeigenbein) Poucher in St Louis, Missouri. He passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Comanche, Oklahoma at the age of 67.
A memorial service in Odessa, Texas will be held privately by family at a later date. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Donald graduated from the Cabot High School in Arkansas. He lived in Odessa, Texas for many years before moving to Duncan two years ago to be with his son, Paul Poucher and family, who was also his caregiver. Donald worked many years as a mechanic in the oilfield repairing pump jacks, as well as being a tire service hand. He enjoyed working on just about anything he could get his hands on. Donald loved the outdoors, especially fishing and would drive for hours just to fish in Lake Ivy with his children. He loved movies and had a rather large collection of every kind of movie. Donald liked to read especially fishing and hunting magazines. He was a sweets man that loved any kinds of candy. Donald cherished hanging out with his children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him, including all his friends and family in Missouri and Arkansas.
He is survived by son: Donald Ray Poucher of Oklahoma; mother of five of his children, Kathryn R. Clubb of Waurika, Oklahoma; five children: Kymberlee Sheanna Poucher of Duncan, Oklahoma; Wesley Eugene Poucher of Odessa; Matthew Rae Poucher of Odessa; Hannah Janae Poucher of Waurika; Paul Joseph Poucher and wife Jessica of Duncan; nine grandchildren; and two brothers: Joseph E. Poucher and Thomas Allen Poucher, both of Odessa.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents.
