Dwight Ben Donica Obituary

Dwight Ben Donica passed from this life on Sunday, June 1, 2025. He was born April 13, 1946 to parents, Q.M. Donica and Mary Donica in Paris, TX. He grew up around the Antlers, OK area, loved to fish and hunt. Dwight served his country as a United States Marine during the Vietnam War.

He married Betty Donica on July 13, 1998 and they spent their life together remodeling houses, riding recumbent trikes, and traveling.

He is survived by wife, Betty of Duncan; son, Lonnie Donica of Moore, OK; stepson, Stephen Haley of Altus, OK; and step-granddaughter, Lexi Haley, of Fort Worth, TX.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Thomas Donica, Raymond Donica, Gale Donica; and sister, Chloe LeFlur.

Special thanks go out to the Lawton Ft. Sill Veterans Center staff for their excellent, loving care. Also, to Shelbie, Mackenzie, and all of the hospice staff for their wonderful end-of-life care.

A private service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
