Edna Reynolds Obituary

Edna Faye (Williams) Reynolds was born on May 2, 1931, in Duncan to John Edward and Zelma Mae (Pritchard) Williams. She passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2020, with her family by her side. She was 88.

There are no services scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center of Duncan.

Edna was a 1948 graduate of Duncan High School. She married Raymond E. Reynolds on September 4, 1951, in Henryetta. To this union, one daughter, Rama, was born. Raymond preceded her in death on December 9, 2001.

She was employed as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell and retired after working 29 years. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Church was very important to her ... she served others by volunteering to provide funeral meals for many families. She also assisted in the church serving program of providing a weekly lunch for Duncan High Schools students. Edna never met a stranger and never hesitated to offer assistance to someone in need.

Edna is survived by her daughter, Rama Everett of Duncan, and grandson, Zach and wife Ashley Everett of Dallas, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bobby Williams; and sisters, Johnnie Freely and Betty Phillips.
