Elwood "Woody" Mullica was born on September 5, 1947 in Dade County, Florida to Donald and Frances Emde Mullica. He passed away with his wife by his side on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, in Duncan, Oklahoma at the age of 76.
According to his wishes, there are no services planned at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Woody was raised in New Jersey by his grandparents whom he called Mom and Pop. He was an athlete, playing baseball, football, and basketball in high school. After graduation, Woody joined the Air Force. He married Mary Beth Evans on June 6, 1987, in Chesterfield, New Jersey. Woody enjoyed music, especially rock and roll, watching NFL football and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. He also loved his dog who was his constant companion.
Preceded in death by his parents, Woody is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mary Beth; son, Michael Mullica and wife Whitney; grandchildren: Nicole Mullica, Katlyn Mullica; and great-grandchild, Aubrey Fennell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Woody's name to the Stephens County Humane Society at PO Box 669, Duncan, OK 73533.
