Obituary
Emma Jane Beverly was born on February 26, 1959. She was raised by her parents, J.C. Bell and Dorothy Dell (Bell) Smith in Riverside California. She passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 in the Integris S.W. Medical Center in Oklahoma City with her family by her side.
The family will have a graveside memorial service on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. in the Fairlawn Cemetery with Rev. Billy Morgan, Freedom Biker Church, officiating. The family has entrusted Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center to handle the arrangements.
Emma was a homemaker but had worked for Goodner's Grocery Store and at Duncan Care Center as a cook. She married the love of her life, Jerald Wayne Beverly, on August 25, 1992 in Wichita Falls, TX. She loved to plant a garden and take care of it. She enjoyed arts and crafts, coloring, and baking but, most of all, loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She attended the Impact 580 Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her children: Jessi Berthelot and husband Erik of Duncan, Jacob Harris and wife Stephanie of Thackerville, Jennifer Hendricks of Gainesville, TX; 13 grandchildren including Justine Davis and Jeremiah Beverly; 3 great grandchildren with another on the way; numerous other relatives; and many dear friends.
