Floyd James Neeld Sr. was born in Loco, Oklahoma on November 7, 1936 to Willis Thomas and Rowena (Bunch) Neeld. He completed his earthly journey on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in Duncan. He was 89.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, December 13, at 2:00 p.m. at Beaver Creek Cowboy Church, followed by inurnment at Rock Creek Cemetery. Cremation arrangements have been handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Floyd was a rancher who loved hunting, fishing, and boat racing. He enjoyed traveling. He loved spending time with his family. He married Sandra Sue Frensley on October 29, 1973 in Duncan.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Billy Don, brother Richard Lee Neeld, and sister Ronnie Jane Scott; Floyd is survived by his children: Deborah and husband Brad Runnels of Shady Shores, Texas; Floyd J. Neeld Jr. of Duncan; Richard Dewayne and wife Sue Neeld of Duncan; Julie and husband Phillip England of Duncan; 10 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and sister, Linda Kay Marney of Oklahoma City.
