Obituary
Frank Ray Johns passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023, at his home in Duncan, Oklahoma at the age of 84. He was born November 12, 1938 in Amsterdam, Ohio to Forrest Ray and Elva (Campbell) Johns.
He graduated from Sharon (Ohio) High School. He was a member of the South Persimmon Baptist Church in Sharon. Frank was also a member of the Army National Guard. He married Doris Taylor on January 17, 1992 in Woodward, Oklahoma, celebrating 31 years of marriage earlier this year. He loved cattle, dogs and the New York Yankees. Most of all, Frank loved spending time with his family and friends.
Frank is survived by his wife, Doris; children: Theresa Rachal of Duncan, Audrey Robertson of Woodward; 15 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Opal Hall of Mustang.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 children: William Bump, Jerry Bump, Debbie Telfer; grandson, Chris Wilkinson; brother, Edward Johns; and sister, Virginia Glover.
