Gary Dorsey Obituary
Gary Don Dorsey was born in Marlow, Oklahoma on December 19, 1967 to Gary Gerald and Margaret (Barton) Dorsey. He passed away on April 16, 2021 at his home in Marlow.
He is survived by his father, Gary, and mother, Margaret, of Arkansas; two brothers: Rodney Dorsey and Kenny (Tracie) Dorsey of Arkansas; nieces: Kayla Dorsey, Lauren Dorsey, Monica Dorsey, Kendra (Justin) Hoyt, Breanna Dorsey; nephew, Garret Dorsey; great nieces, Terranye, Aubrey and Addleigh Clark; great nephew, Keystone Hoyt. He is also survived by aunt, Leone CarsWA of Marlow; uncle, John Barton of Spanaway, WA; lots of cousins; and best friends, Shannon Elroy of Marlow; Brian Standridge of Duncan; Katie Matthews of Bray.
Gary graduated from Marlow High School where he played football. He received a Bachelor's degree from the USAO in Chickasha. Before his illness he worked at Sprint Communications. He loved living in OKC until his health declined. He had made many lifelong friends. He was currently living in Marlow. His quick wit and love will always be remembered.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center of Duncan.
