Obituary
Geary Earl Sims was born March 7, 1936 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Earl and Nellie (Clark) Sims. He completed his earthly journey on Saturday, April 15, 2023, with his family at his side. He was 87.
He graduated from Duncan High School with the Class of 1954. He received a Master's degree in Business Administration from Boise State University. Geary proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1956 until he was honorably discharged in July of 1960. He was employed at Halliburton as a credit manager until his retirement. Geary married Carol Sue Spradling in 1996. His favorite pastime was playing golf.
Geary is survived by his wife, Carol; his children: Meedan Sims Greenlee, Kerrie L. Boggs-Sims, and Deena K. Sims; and his brother and sister-in-law, Larry D. and Sue Sims. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother and sister-in-law, Clark W. and Dorothy Sims.
