Glenda Faye Covington

Glenda Faye (Remy) Covington was born February 27, 1963 in Hinton, Oklahoma to Joe Burl and Betty Louise (Upton) Remy. She passed away in Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the age of 61.

A viewing is planned for Wednesday, April 17, at Crews Funeral Home from 9:00 A.M. to 7 P.M. Funeral services are planned for 10:00 A.M., Thursday, April 18, at Apache First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Brandon Manley officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Crews Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers are Brody Powers, Justin Neeley Kevin Remy, Sean Pendley, Jimmy Palesano, and Tony Palesano; honorary pallbearers are Dawson Brush, Edward Brush, and Johnny Upton.

Glenda enjoyed working in shipping and receiving at Great Plains Vo-Tech. She also worked in inventory for Great Plains Vo-Tech at both the Lawton and Fredrick campuses. She married William "Bill" Covington on June 27, 2001. Together, they made their home in Lawton, OK. She liked having a tidy home and enjoyed cleaning, baking, and crocheting. Glenda loved her family and loved putting together dinners and family get togethers. She never met a stranger and spending time with her family and friends was what she loved the most. Glenda adored her dog "Lady" and loved to spoil her.

Glenda is survived by her husband of 22 years, Bill; daughter: Jean Delaney Lambert and husband Micah; grandchildren: Isabelle Farley, Robert Farley; parents, Joe Burl and Betty Remy; sister, Debbie Powers and husband Alvin; niece, Chelsey Powers; and nephew, Brody Powers.
