Glenn Duane Davis was born in Longview, Texas on December 30, 1950 to Duane Derrel and Bettie (Childress) Davis. He passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 70.
Viewing will be at Whitt Funeral Home. A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, May 10, at 2:00 P.M. in the Duncan Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.
Glenn attended schools in Longview, Texas, Lovington, New Mexico, and graduated from Duncan High School. He received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma (USAO) in Chickasha. He loved to study history, especially World War II. He was an extremely avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He knew all the players and coaches by name; Roger Staubach was his favorite player. He paid close attention to the NFL draft every year. Glenn looked forward to going to the movies and he never missed a James Bond movie. He was passionate about traveling to Disney World and Disneyland. Family was extremely important and he enjoyed being with them. He adored his cats: Tommy, Dolly, Baby and Dee. Glenn owned and operated J's Drive-In in Duncan for nearly 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Duane and Bettie Davis, and his nephew, Bronson Davis.
Glenn is survived by his brothers: Doug Davis of Oklahoma City, Derrel Davis of Duncan, and Dodd Davis and wife Jenifer of Oklahoma City; sister, Dana Davis Harwell and husband Jerry of Duncan; nieces and nephews: Dr. Natalie Davis Siegfried and husband Levi, Molly Davis, Reed Davis, Chad Davis Harwell and fiancé Dr. Valerie Kastens, Chelsea Harwell, Olivia Davis, Roman Davis; great niece, Emma Siegfried; and great nephew, Ethan Siegfried.
