Gloria Kay Smith

Gloria Kay Smith was born February 9, 1948, in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to Clinton and Ella Mae (Caldwell) Huggins.  She passed away in Lawton, Oklahoma on Monday, June 23, 2025, at the age of 77.

There are no services planned at this time.  Cremation arrangements are being handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

Through out her life, Gloria was a homemaker, stay-at-mother and babysitter.  She loved watching soap operas and true crime.  She enjoyed listening to police stories and reading True Detective Magazine.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; son, Clinton “Duane” Smith; brother, Ralph Holloway; and her life partner of almost 40 years, Gene Cooper.  She is survived by her son, Richard Muecke and wife Rosemary; 5 grandchildren; and sister, Lora Foster.
