Goldie Inez Anderson was born April 19, 1962 to Glen and Maudie Gibson, the youngest of nine children, and passed away May 29, 2025 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital surrounded by family.

Goldie graduated in 1980 from Apache High School and later went to work for Haggars Slacks then for Trego's Western Wear in Woodward, Oklahoma. Goldie enjoyed time with her nieces and nephews, spending countless hours making memories with them. Goldie went to work for Cubs Den Daycare and often did private baby-sitting. Though she had no kids of her own, she spoiled and protected those she cared for with a passion. She was an avid crocheter, making booties, hats and afghans for many people. She had to give it up after losing one of her fingers.

Goldie married Jack Anderson of Cyril on August 27, 2004 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She and Jack lived in Cyril and Fletcher before moving to Apache.

Survivors include her husband Jack, two sisters-in-law; four sisters Alene Cicarelli, Pauline and Lyle Crigler, Irene and Allen Tate, and Laverne Metzger; two brothers Lavon and Gwen Gibson, and Roy and Martha Gibson; along with many nieces, nephews and her life-long friend Larry Anderson.

Goldie was preceded in death by her parents Glen and Maudie Gibson and two brothers, Leslie (Peewee) Johnson and Hubert Ray Gibson.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Apache, with Bro. Jon Syverson and Les Claborn officiating.
