Was born May 1, 1935 in Cordell, OK to N.C. and Virgie (Ritchie) Oliver. She passed away November 19th in Lawton, OK at the age of 76.

She attended school in Cordell. She married James Ford on May 4, 1953 in Sayre, OK. He preceded her in death on December 19, 1992. They moved to Apache in 1961. She worked in retail for many years and was always known for her friendliness, wit and humor. She loved taking pictures of her customers and co-workers. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Apache. Goldie adored children. She also loved animals and enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by:

2 grandchildren-
Anita Mae Ford and Corey David Ford

5 great-grandchildren-

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 25th at 2:00 P.M. at the Crews Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bud Jones officiating. A private committal will be held at a later date. Services are under the direction of Crews Funeral Home.
