Henry Allen Obituary
Henry James Allen was born in Macon, Georgia on April 27, 1943, to Willie Allen Sr. and Rubbie Mae (White) Allen. He finished his earthly journey on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at the Lawton Fort Sill Veterans Center at the age of 80.
A memorial service is planned for 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Zoe Christian Center in Duncan with Donald Anderson and Melvin Sanders officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Henry served his country in the U.S. Navy for 6 years, completing two tours of duty in Vietnam. He worked as a computer specialist. He enjoyed watching movies and videos and flying his single-engine Cessna plane. He could rebuild anything. Henry was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be missed dearly.
Preceded in death by his parents and brothers: James, Willie Jr. and Leroy, Henry is survived by his children: Jeffrey Norman, Alicia Allen, Erica Allen, and Toi Jackson all of Detroit, Michigan; the mother of his children, Ruby Allen; his grandchildren, great-grandchildren; brother, Clarence Allen of Clinton Township, Michigan; and sister, Magnolia Anderson of Duncan.
