Huey Paul Woods of Comanche OK was born in Linden, TX on April 10th, 1935 to Irving Miller Woods and Iva Orvetta Woods. Huey passed away on Feb. 22, 2025 with his wife Martha at his side.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Martha Gay (Jones) Woods, his brother Jimmy of Belmont LA. 3 children, daughter, Mellisa Woods of Sanger TX, son Steve Woods and wife Melinda of Duncan OK and son, Lee Woods and his wife Tracy of Waurika OK.

Huey was a longtime oilfield worker and road construction worker. He enjoyed being outdoors and his hobbies included making beef jerky and jewelry as well as seeing how hot of a picante sauce he could eat. He adored Martha and loved seeing his grandkids, Daniel, Jen, Luke, Kaylee and Braden, Great granddaughter Evie and the newest additions to the family, Jake and Emmy.

Huey will have a graveside gathering at the Fairlawn cemetery in Comanche OK on March 22, at 10:00 AM. His grandkids and great grandkids will serve as honorary pallbearers. It is requested that, in lieu of flowers, you make a donation in his honor to your favorite charity.
