Jackie Trone Obituary

Jackie D. Trone was born November 5, 1955 in Abilene, Kansas to John F. and Jo Anna (Parks) Trone. She passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021, in Lawton with her husband and daughter by her side. She was 65.

The family is planning a private memorial service at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

Being an Army brat, Jackie attended many different schools. She married Nathaniel Hugh Dugan on June 11, 2001 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Jackie was employed as a vault clerk for Chisholm Trail Casino and had also been a real estate agent in Lawton. Yard sales and auctions brought her the opportunity to buy things for others, especially her grandchildren. Politics was a favorite conversation topic between Jackie and her friends. She was a devout Christian and wanted everyone to know it.

Preceded in death by her father, John Trone, Jackie is survived by her husband, Nate Dugan; mother, Jo Anna Trone; children: Stacy and Ricky Adams, Christina Akins and Barb Gamblain, Lindsey Akins, Austin and Kathy Dugan, and Charlee Dugan and Matt Cruz; 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother, John David and Kathy Trone; and sisters, Jean and Robert Ward, Jennifer and Jeff Allen.
