James "Jim" Richardson Obituary
James Oliver "Jim" Richardson was born May 31, 1947, in Bell, California to George and Margaret (Brandenberger) Richardson. He passed away at his home in Duncan on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the age of 77.
A memorial service is planned for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 15, at the Duncan Moose Lodge. Cremation services were entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Jim attended Bell High School in California and joined the Marine Corps in 1964. He served in Vietnam earning a Service medal with two stars and a National Defense Service Medal among others.
After his discharge from the Marines, Jim worked in construction doing painting and drywall through his business, The Painter Man. Jim loved being at Lake Texoma where he enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating. He was a member of the Moose Lodge.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marie; and son, Bryan Miller. Survivors include his children: Kevin Miller and wife Brenda, Rhonda Miracle and husband Keith; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis Richardson; sisters: Sandra Johnson and husband George, and Linda Richardson; and many nieces and nephews.
