James "Jim" Earl Robinson, of Duncan, Oklahoma. passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, in Duncan. He was born on December 12, 1953 in Long Beach, California to James Oscar and Peggy Lavone (Thompson) Robinson.
There are no services planned at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
By trade, Jim was a self-employed painter. He had a love for life and never let anything stand in the way of achieving his dreams, whether it be opening for Van Halen or surfing some enormous waves in Virginia Beach. He was a third-degree black belt in martial arts. He open several Dojos in Oklahoma, especially around the Oklahoma City area. He enjoyed studying the paranormal for over 50 years. Jim was a true friend to all that had a privilege to know him. Jim will be dearly missed.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James Oscar and Peggy Lavone Robinson, and his son, James Earl Robinson Jr. He is survived by his brother, Robert Robinson of Tonopah, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews including Jamie Robinson of Tonopah, Arizona.
