James "Jimbo" Lowe Obituary

James “Jimbo” L. Lowe, of Purcell, Oklahoma, was born in Ozark, Arkansas on May 11, 1964 to Alvis Monroe Lowe and Shirley Ann (Stanley) Smith. He completed his earthly journey on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, in Norman, Oklahoma.

There are no services planned at this time. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center of Duncan.

Jimbo was employed as a commercial painter. He loved golfing, fishing, and football. He enjoyed riding motorcycles. He was an avid OU Sooners and San Diego Chargers fan. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Alvis Albert Lowe, Jimbo is survived by his children: Chris and Shauna Lowe of Duncan, Krystl and Chris Walch of Warr Acres, Ashley Lowe and Devon Gilleland of Little Axe, Angela and Michael Ozment of Rosedale; and 11 grandchildren.  He is also survived by 2 sisters: Shirley Mae Bell of Arizona, Sheila Kay and Tim Branham of Purcell; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives; and many friends.
