Jason Andrew Claborn

Jason Andrew Claborn, 54, of Apache, Oklahoma, passed away on March 15, 2026.

Born on December 27, 1971, Jason grew up as a coach's kid, with his father, Andy Claborn, serving as a dedicated football coach. He graduated from Alex High School and went on to earn his degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University, where he proudly served as president of the College Republicans.

From an early age, Jason embodied leadership and service. He joined Cub Scouts in first grade, advanced to become an Eagle Scout, and was inducted into the Order of the Arrow during high school-achievements that reflected his commitment to character, community, and the outdoors.

Jason had a zest for life and diverse passions. He loved to travel, collect vintage furnishings, cheer on the Oklahoma Sooners at OU football games, and maintained a lifelong love of reading that enriched his mind and spirit. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Alva, Oklahoma.

Professionally, Jason was a respected financial planner with Modern Wealth Management, where he helped clients build secure futures with integrity and care.

Above all, Jason's greatest joy and pride came from his role as a father. He cherished every moment with his children, Jack Claborn and Zella Claborn, celebrating their accomplishments and loving them unconditionally.

Jason is survived by his loving parents, Andy and Vicki (Mandrell) Claborn; his son, Jack Claborn; his daughter, Zella Claborn; his brother, Jon Claborn and wife Janelle, along with their children Drew and Anne; his brother, Joe Claborn and wife Melanie, along with their children Porter and Ada; Uncle Billy Claborn, Uncle Dan Swanda, and Uncle Gerald Mandrell, and many close cousins and dear friends who will remember him as a kind, generous, and loyal companion.

Jason's warmth, generosity, and unwavering loyalty touched countless lives. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00, Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the First Christian Church in Apache, Oklahoma.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Apache Historical Society.
