Jettie Walden Obituary
Jettie Beth Walden was born December 3, 1944, in Wichita Falls, Texas to Gloy Spencer and McReed (Williams) Davis. She passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019, with her family by her side at her home in Duncan.
There are no services planned at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Jettie attended Wichita Falls public schools. On August 15, 1958, she married Howard Walden. To this union, two children - Kim and Wayland - were born. She loved her family and grandchildren dearly.
She worked at Tosco Refinery loading trucks for 7 years. She enjoyed cooking, watching television and spending time with her friend, Linda Koonce. She loved her dog, Jake. She also loved the staff at Chisholm Trail Assisted Living.
Jettie is survived by her children: Kim (Dave) Watkins, Wayland Walden; grandchildren: Colt (Melissa) Gray, Clay (Mandy) Gray, Coby Gray, Makensi Garza, Tiffany Walden, Wayland Walden Jr., Emily (James) Tharp; great grandchildren: Ely Gray, Ty Gray, Baylor Gray, James Tharp Jr., Bradley Tharp, Noah Tharp, Matthew Tharp, Haley Johnson; sister, Gloys Herchman; and brother-in-law, Walter Herchman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; parents; brother, Robert Davis; sister, Nina Herchman; and brother-in-law, Arthur Herchman.
