Jewell Minnie (Finch) Phillips was born February 16, 1923, in Tawas City, Michigan to Gerald and Julia (Libka) Finch. She went to be with her heavenly father on Wednesday, February 20, 2025, in Duncan, Oklahoma. She was 102 years old.
As per her wishes, there are no services planned. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Jewell was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed painting, writing and reading her Bible. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Gary Phillips and wife Carol of Michigan, Richard Phillips and wife Lee of Michigan, Diane Bregg of Duncan, OK, Alan Phillips and wife Cheryl of Tennessee, Nancy Phillips of California, Marty Phillips and wife Deanna of Illinois; 9 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Jewell was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Julia, and brothers: Gerald Finch and Howard Finch.
