Jimmy Reed Obituary

Jimmy Wayne Reed was born July 6, 1973 in Fort Worth, Texas to Brenda and James Thomas Reed. He passed away on October 8, 2021 at the age of 48 in Billings, Montana.

A memorial service is scheduled for November 6, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Patterson Avenue Baptist Church in Comanche, Oklahoma, officiated by Roy Rochell.

Jimmy graduated from Comanche High School with the Class of 1992. He went on to Tulsa Welding School to learn how to become a professional welder. He worked as a welder about 29 years in both North Dakota and Montana, and from St. Croix to Alaska.

He loved camping, hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He spent all the time that he could passing these skills to his son, Jacob. Jimmy also loved spending time with his friends, making them laugh, singing karaoke, and just having a good time.

Jimmy is survived by his son, Jacob Morgan Reed; daughter, Chelsea Grace Reed; mother, Brenda Reed; three sisters: Holley Michele Reed, Stacey Renee Sleeker, and Ashley Kay Baker, all of Duncan; seven nieces and nephews: Maison Bryce and wife Janae Millan, Breydan Millan, Matthew Millan, Phillip Bryce Baker, Lucelia Braylee Kay Baker and Amelia June Baker of Port Huron, MI; two great nieces: Alessia Millan and Cambry Millan; many aunts, uncles and cousins from Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky and Nevada; and many friends from his job in Watford City, North Dakota and Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lucille and J. L. Sullivan; uncle, Mike Plumlee; father-in-law and "Best Bud", Bill Masch.
