Joanne Theresa Taylor was born on January 12, 1958, in Key West, Florida, to Calvin Greenwood and Frederick Ann (White) Greenwood Zumberis. She passed away in Duncan, Oklahoma, on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the age of 68.
Joanne devoted her life to her family. As a homemaker, she lovingly raised her three children and made her home a place centered around those she loved most. Her greatest joy came from being a grandmother. Joanne lived for her eight grandchildren and treasured the time she was able to spend with them. Her family was truly the center of her world, and the memories they shared with her will be cherished for years to come.
Joanne was preceded in death by her parents; her son, William "Billy" Taylor; and her grandson, Tristin.
She is survived by her children, Casandra Bassham and husband Brian, and Stephen Taylor; grandchildren: Bryan, Payton, Chase, Addison, Alexis, Jayden, Tayten, and Melinda; one great-grandchild; brothers: Steven Greenwood and Jimmy Greenwood; and other loving family members and friends.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
