Larry Joe Litsch passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 4, 2021. He was born January 24, 1935 in Fay, Oklahoma to Edward Martin and Gertrude Litsch.
A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, April 21, at 11:00 A.M. at the Assumption Catholic Church with Father Peter Jandaczek officiating with a Mass of Christian Burial. Masks and social distancing are required for attendees. A private inurnment will be in the Duncan Municipal Cemetery. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Joe graduated from Fay High School in 1953. He then graduated from Southwestern University in 1959. In 1968 he married Nancy Ann Pace. He was a big Oklahoma University football and basketball fan/season ticket holder. He loved to travel, both domestically and internationally, and go on cruises. He worked hard all of his life. Joe was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church, a longtime member of Rotary International, and a member of the Paul Harris Fellow program.
Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dale Litsch, he is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nancy; and two nephews: Jeff Litsch of California and Tim and wife Diane Litsch of Texas; sister-in-law, Lois Litsch of Texas; and numerous cousins and family friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Stephens County Humane Society, PO Box 669, Duncan, OK 73534, or to the charity of choice.
