Joseph Pascal Tabb Sr. was born August 15, 1946, in Georgia to George and Lola (Hudson) Tabb. He passed from this life on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at the age of 78.
There are no services planned at this time. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Joseph graduated from Castleberry High School in River Oaks, Texas. He served in the US Army from 1971-1987 doing 2 tours in Vietnam as Crew Commander for the M114 155mm Howitzer, 1st of the 82nd Field Artillery earning, among other awards, a Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm and a Bronze Star Medal. Since his honorable discharge from the Army, Joseph enjoyed sci-fi, military history, and western books and television shows. He loved his dog Lucy Goosy who was his constant companion.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Allison; brother, Richard Tabb; sister, Deborah Ann Tabb and nephews: Joseph Patrick Tabb and Roger Tabb. Joseph is survived by his son, Joseph Tabb Jr. and wife Shello; step-daughter, Leslie Ann Lamb; grandchildren: Skyler Hayes, Jonathon Walton, Joshua Boston, James Boston, Kayla Coplin; great-grandchild, Able Hayes; sister-in-law, Karin Tabb; niece, Jessica Schmidtke; and nephews: Jeremy Tabb and Jason Tabb.
