Joyce Vermillion Obituary
Joyce Ann Vermillion was born October 7, 1940 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Jess Robert and Cora Lou (Woodward) Hale. She passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021 at the age of 80 in Duncan, Oklahoma.
There are no services planned at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Joyce was a graduate of Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City. She married Allen Earl Vermillion. To that union, three children - Rick, Allen and Donna - were born. Joyce's family was her the highlight of her life; she dearly loved them and cherished spending time with her them. She especially loved her granddaughter Jamie whom she helped raise. Joyce liked the outdoors and long drives in her fast red corvette. She loved to craft. Joyce enjoyed trips to the casino with her sister and husband.
Joyce is survived by her three children: Rick Vermillion and wife Gayle of Duncan; Allen Vermillion of Duncan; Donna Hice of Red Bluff, CA; eight grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and sister, Virginia Sanders of Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister, Georgia.
