June Lamb-Sweany-Gifford Obituary

Wanda 'June' Sweany-Gifford, 79, was born November 16, 1943 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma to Byron Haskell 'Hack' and Jewel Estell (Ferguson) Bruner. She passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at her home in Marlow.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center of Duncan.

June was a 1961 graduate of Rush Springs High School. She loved to fish, sew, quilt, paint, wood burning, cooking, and browsing the internet. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. She had worked as a Pharmacist Tech for Gary Newberry at WalMart Pharmacy in Marlow and had also worked at Gray's Drug Store.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tammy Lamb; brother, Gary Bruner; and brother-in-law, Sam Wilder. June is survived by her son, Randy Lamb and wife Jennifer of Midwest City; grandchildren, Kayelen Fincher and husband Michael of Marlow, Zachary Lamb of Marlow, Jesse Lamb of Apache; and step grandson, Kyler Vandenbrock of Weatherford. She is also survived by her brother, Larry and wife Nancy Bruner; sisters: Barbara and husband Albert Trent, Sandra Wilder, Linda and husband Orval Howard; sister-in-law, Linda Bruner; and numerous other relatives and friends.
