Kathy Lynn (Fairl) Harris completed her earthly journey on Saturday, April 3, 2021, in Lawton. She was born September 16, 1960 in Fort Worth, Texas to Frederick Henry and Evey Arena (Vestall) Fairl. She was 60.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church in Marlow. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
She graduated from Euless (Texas) High School. Kathy married Terry Joe "T.J." Harris on October 21, 1977 in Texas. She was employed for 3 years as a housekeeper for Gregston Nursing Home.
Kathy was an avid outdoor person. She loved to go camping, hiking, paddle boating with her husband, fishing and going to the mountains. Going to the lake and tubing were also favorite pastimes. She also enjoyed crocheting, reading, and working crossword puzzles and Sudoku puzzles. She loved to bake cookies and cakes. She was also a power talker. Kathy was a beautiful sister and person. Her family was always #1 to her. She loved family time and playing with her grandbabies; she was all about those grandbabies.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Leta Ann Rogers; and two brothers, James Fairl and Marvin Eugene Fairl.
Kathy is survived by her husband, T.J.; daughters: Karrie and husband William Patton of Marlow; Emma and husband David Watkins of Rush Springs; five grandchildren: Jozlynne Patton, William Patton II, Dylan Watkins, Marshall Watkins, Elizabeth Watkins; three brothers: Richard Allen and wife Mary Ann Fairl of Azle, Texas; Kenneth Leroy Fairl of Reno, Texas; Steven Fairl also of Reno; and three sisters: Carol Lois Schoolcraft of Hillsboro, Texas; Sandra Joy Fairl of Azle, Texas; Terry Hall of Nederland, Texas, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
