Kaye Vanbebber-Foster was born August 10, 1948 in Duncan, Oklahoma to E.B. "Van" and Lucy "Valerie" (Todd) Vanbebber. She completed her earthly journey on Thursday, November 4, 2021, in Oklahoma City at the age of 73.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Tuesday, November 9th, at 2:00 P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Southerland officiating.
Kaye graduated from Duncan High School with the Class of 1966. She then attended Oklahoma State University for one year. She was employed by Halliburton as an Accounts Payable Clerk for many years. She also loved working at the family convenience store where she could visit with their many customers. Kaye raised her twin daughters, Shana and Lana, by herself, often working two jobs.
She loved to bowl, watch soap operas, and read romance novels. Her favorite performer was Elvis Presley and she loved watching and listening to him sing. Kaye was a people person, visiting with everyone she met. Her favorite animals were dogs and cats. She was also an OSU fan. She loved her family.
Preceded in death by her parents, Kaye is survived by her daughters, Shana Pollock and significant other Scott Jordon of Edmond; Lana Harris and husband James of Duncan; grandchildren: Kamri Pollock of Duncan; Logan Harris and fiancé Treja Stevenson; Ridge Harris and significant other Sami Lagaly; brother, Jack Vanbebber of Duncan; sister, Lana Sue Woods and husband Mike of Euless, Texas; half-sisters: Gayle Davis of Oklahoma City, Connie Lucas of Bixby; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in memoriam to the Stephens County Humane Society, PO Box 669, Duncan, OK 73534.
