Keith Foster Obituary

Donald Keith Foster, age 59, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, February 2, 2024, from a hemorrhagic stroke. Keith was born on February 21, 1964, to Donnie and Billie Kay (Southerland) Foster in Duncan, Oklahoma.

Memorial services are set for 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 5, at the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Keith's uncles, Rev. Randy Southerland and Rev. Larry Sparks, officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.

Keith graduated from Velma-Alma High School in May of 1982. He worked in the oil field in Midland-Odessa for a number of years until he became disabled from an accident.

Keith loved life, enjoyed playing video games, and his family was paramount to him. He stayed abreast on current news events and loved researching and studying about historical happenings, science, and politics. Keith had a keen mind and wanted to know about various subjects, and he spent many hours searching the topics which most interested him.

Keith trusted Christ as his Lord and Savior and loved reading his Bible which he kept close by.

He is survived by his wife, Renee; son, Eric Foster of Duncan; step-children: Gabriel Mendoza and Gabby Mendoza of Denver City, Texas; father, Donnie Foster of Lebanon, Oklahoma; sisters: Traci McGill and husband Ed of Duncan, Sharla Foster and Danny of Tulsa; grandchildren: Jessie Foster, Mallory Foster, Jasey Ann Foster; aunts: Sharon Sikes and husband Danny of Velma, Vickie Sparks and husband Larry of Tecumseh, Terry Abbott and husband Rick of Norman, Judy Lyle of Wynnewood; uncles: Randy Southerland of Duncan, Darrell Southerland and wife Lori of Cache; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins whom he loved dearly and deeply.

Keith was preceded in death by his mother, Billie Kay Foster; grandparents, Calvin (Son) Foster and Patsy Foster, and Dwain and Wanda Southerland; and aunt, Vicky Wade.

Keith's family wishes to thank the paramedic team and the Duncan Regional Hospital Emergency Room team for their prompt attention, kindness, and compassion shown.
