Kelly Lyn (Gilbert) Hibblen was born on February 23, 1961 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Charles Wesley Gilbert II and Mae (Branch) Gilbert. At the age of 64, Kelly completed her earthly journey on Friday, January 30, 2026, at her home in Duncan.
Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel followed by her funeral at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Randy Southerland, pastor New Hope Baptist Church West, officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Doug Kirk, Jack Kirk, JC Johnston, Rogelio Figueroa, Eli Alvarado, and Jason Foster. Kelly graduated from Velma High School. She had worked at BlackHawk Industrial and Duncan Equipment for 30 years. She was the Operations Manager for the Pumps & Services Division. Kelly was a strong, independent woman. Her team was the OU Sooners - so much so that she would skip school to attend press day at OU.
She married Gregory Royal Hibblen in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 9, 2008. Together, they raised their daughter, Nikki. She loved Nikki immensely and they were best friends. She also loved the rest of her family - her husband, grandchildren, brothers, nieces and nephews.
Kelly is survived by her husband of 17 years, Greg; daughter and son-in-law, Nikki and Doug Kirk of Yukon, Oklahoma; and grandchildren: Jack Kirk and Avery Kirk. She is also survived by three brothers: Ralph Gilbert, Roger Gilbert, and Joe Gilbert. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Chucky Gilbert; and sister, Patti Harper.
