Koleene (Finney) Davidchik Killingsworth passed away on July 4, 2021 in Shamrock, TX. Family visitation will be held at Whitt Funeral Home, located at 4748 N. Highway 81, Duncan, OK, on July 9, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at First Baptist Church in Duncan, OK on July 10, 2021 at 10 am with interment at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, OK.
Koleene was born September 6, 1930 in Erick, OK to John W. and Ida Gertrude (Bethel) Finney. She met her husband, Paul Davidchik, on a blind date in Sherman, TX, and they married on October 15, 1948. In 1957, Koleene, Paul and their daughters moved from Sherman, TX to Duncan, OK. Koleene was employed by Security National Bank and Security Corp from 1957 until her retirement. Koleene, Paul and family moved to Comanche, OK in 1967, following the purchase of their farm and building their home. Both were active members at Faith Baptist and Parkview Baptist in Duncan and later joined First Baptist in Comanche, OK. Koleene served in the women's auxiliary and taught Sunday School along with being a choir member.
Paul preceded her in death on July 16, 1998. Koleene returned to Duncan where she became a member of the First Baptist Church in Duncan. On March 18, 2006, Koleene married her lifelong friend, Kenneth Killingsworth, in Oklahoma City and they resided in Duncan until 2013, when they moved to Shamrock, TX and joined the First Baptist Church in Shamrock.
Koleene loved collecting antiques, decorating, gardening, traveling and cooking for family and friends.
Koleene is survived by her husband, Kenneth Killingsworth of Shamrock, TX; her two daughters, Paula and Cleo Land of Edmond, OK; Becky and Tom Ostendorp of Lakeland, FL; Kenneth's three children and their spouses, Sharon and Ralph Graves of Clarendon, TX; David and Robbie Killingsworth of Cleburne, TX; and Tracey and Allen Fisher of Sayre, OK. Koleene (Nonnie) is also survived by her grandson and his wife, Michael and Nicole McEntire and great granddaughter, Mykala, of Ft. Worth, TX. Koleene and Kenneth share 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Koleene is also survived by her brother-in-law, Jerry Killingsworth of Wheeler, TX; sisters-in-law, Paula and husband Marvin Welty of Hereford, TX; Jean Davidchik of Sherman, TX; and JoAnne Davidchik of Canyon, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews who she dearly loved.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Ida Gertrude (Bethel) Finney; and siblings, Martha Moore, Fannie Killingsworth, Milton Finney, Nan McKinney, and Johnnie Dean Finney.
