Larry Brownlee Obituary

Larry Curtis Brownlee was born on February 10, 1962, in Turrell, Arkansas to Walter and Ethel Mae (Coleman) Brownlee. He passed away at his home in Marlow, Oklahoma on April 22, 2024, at the age of 62.

A memorial service is planned for 1:00 P.M., May 4, 2024, at William R. Golden School in Turrell. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

Larry graduated from Turrell High School and later joined the U.S. Army. He rose to the rank of Sergeant and served overseas. He was awarded, among other honors, the National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service medal with Bronze Service Star, and the Kuwait Liberation Medal.

In his free time, Larry enjoyed watching football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs, and hanging out with his grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, Larry is survived by his children: Michael Curtis Brownlee and Eric Justin Brownlee; grandchildren: Channing Paul Brownlee, Bellamy Drake Brownlee, Skye Jennings Brownlee; brothers: Randy Brownlee and wife Debra and Elton Brownlee; sisters: Louella Moore, Denise Brownlee, Vanessa Johnson; uncles: Joe L. Brownlee and Grover Brownlee; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends: Rebecca White, Earnest Barnes, Eddie Ramezra.
