Larry Challis Obituary
Larry Richard Challis, age 74, passed from this life on Thursday, July 16, 2020, at his home. Larry was born on March 25, 1946, in Apache, Oklahoma to Everett and Lorene Challis.
Larry enjoyed fishing, camping, playing games at the casinos and watching old westerns. He also enjoyed tinkering with old cars and repairing lawn mowers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Lorene Challis of Apache; sister, Sheila Coffman of Apache; and brother, Harold Challis of Georgetown, Texas.
Larry is survived by wife, Neoma Challis, of the home; daughter, Christi and husband Charles of Norman, OK; step-son, James and wife Tina of Shawnee, OK; step-daughter, Sandra and husband Mike of Weatherford, OK; 6 granddaughters; 3 Grandsons; 4 great grandsons; 4 great granddaughters; brother, Gaylon Texas of Hurst Texas; as well as countless nieces and nephews.
A small service will be held on Thursday, July 23, at 11:00 A.M. at Crews Funeral Home in Apache with James Ticer officiating.
