Larry Taylor Obituary
Larry Eugene Taylor, of Hastings, Oklahoma, was born October 29, 1948 in Oklahoma City to Bernard Rowland and Alice Dorothea (Brown) Taylor. He passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 in Oklahoma City at the age of 74.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, February 4, at 1:00 P.M. at the Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church with Lance Smith, minister, officiating. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center of Duncan.
Larry grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Putnam City schools. He was the owner/operator of a tire shop. He enjoyed coaching girls' softball. He also enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. He married Barbara Jean Saylors on April 17, 2010 in Duncan. Larry was a member of the Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Randall Taylor; brother, Bob Taylor; and sister, Betty Taylor. Larry is survived by his wife, Barbara; children: Rodney Eugene and wife Keri Taylor of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Colton and wife Patty Taylor of Comanche, Oklahoma; Kelly Louise and husband Scott Espinosa of Meridian, Oklahoma, Kristy and husband Ricky Houston of Duncan, Oklahoma, Cindy Peterson of Norman, Oklahoma, Roy Albertson of Anadarko, Oklahoma, Renee and husband Brent Bracken of Elgin, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Cassidy Hill, Scott Espinosa Jr., Logan Wesley Schoonover, Jacob Randall Taylor, John Thomas and wife Natasha Taylor, Avery Anne Lowe, Catharine Claire Roose, Caroline Louise Roos, Kolby Taylor, Jensen Taylor, Landon Taylor, Parker Taylor, Brian Adams and Amber Lee, Wyatt Adams, Carter and wife Ashton Adams, Chyan and husband Jerame Littell, Joshua and wife Melissa Peterson, Rowdy Albertson, Scout Albertson, Jordan Lee, Jarod Bracken; and great-grandchildren: Brilee Adams, River Adams, Payton Peterson, Lily Lee, Bexleigh Lee, Abi Taylor.
