Lenora "Jeanie" Strus Obituary
Comanche resident Lenora "Jeanie" Jean Strus was born October 12, 1952 in Durant, Oklahoma to Murray and Lucille (Maze) Kidd. She completed her earthly journey at the age of 73 on Saturday, January 24, 2026, in Duncan with her husband at her side.
Jeanie attended school in Durant and Madill, graduating from Madill High School. She completed her education with a Bachelor's degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant. She married the love of her life, Michael Strus on December 20, 1975. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
She enjoyed traveling and particularly going on cruises. Her favorite time was spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Jeanie is survived by her husband, Michael; children: Jennifer and husband Chris Williams and Danny and wife Carly Strus, all of Ardmore; and grandchildren: Ari Williams and Heidi Strus. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
There are no services planned at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center of Duncan.
