Leopoldo "Perico" Herrera-López nació el 8 de enero de 1962 en Chihuahua, México, hijo de Pedro Herrera y Rosalía Herrera-López. Falleció en su casa de Duncan, Oklahoma, el jueves 7 de agosto de 2025, a la edad de 63 años.
El velorio y las visitas están disponibles de 9 a.m. a 7:00 p.m. el martes 12 de agosto en la capilla de la funeraria Whitt.
Perico era un hombre trabajador cuya vida estaba llena de amistad, amabilidad y servicio. Trabajó en la construcción industrial y de viviendas, construyendo no solo estructuras sino también relaciones con quienes lo rodeaban. Conocido por su naturaleza amistosa, Perico trataba a todos con respeto y siempre estaba dispuesto a echar una mano. Le gustaba cocinar y compartir comidas, ver televisión, especialmente boxeo y fútbol, escuchar música y bailar. La fe fue una parte importante de su vida, y compartió generosamente su conocimiento y tiempo dirigiendo una clase para la Fiesta de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe en la Iglesia Católica de la Asunción.
Fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres y deja un impacto duradero en todos los que lo conocieron.

Viewing and visitation is available from 9 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 12, at the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel.
Perico was a hardworking man whose life was filled with friendship, kindness, and service. He worked in industrial and home construction, building not only structures but also relationships with those around him. Known for his friendly nature, Perico treated everyone with respect and was always ready to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed cooking and sharing meals, watching television - especially boxing and soccer - listening to music, and dancing. Faith was an important part of his life, and he generously shared his knowledge and time by leading a class for the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe at the Assumption Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and leaves behind a lasting impact on all who knew him.
