Linda Gale Adams

Linda Gale Adams was born February 27, 1954 in Piqua, Ohio to Harry and Thelma Lee Soliday. She passed away on November 30, 2022 at her home in Duncan with her family by her side.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00P.M. on Wednesday, December 7, in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Miller officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Duncan Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

Linda loved to read and play cards but, most of all, she loved spending time with family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She savored her Coke and enjoyed eating anything chocolate. She was a teacher’s assistant for over 35 years before her retirement. She married Robert Adams on March 23, 2012 at The Christian Center in Duncan.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Kirby Jackson; parents: Thelma and Harry Soliday, George Schimmel and Grover Curry; and brothers: Dennis Wogoman, Johnny Soliday, and Billy Soliday.

Linda is survived by her husband, Robert Walter Adams; children: Shawn Jackson of Oklahoma City, Amy Jackson of Duncan, Shelby Jackson of Suffield, Connecticut; grandchildren: Kelsie Soto, Houston Smith, Sierra Soto, William Jackson, Kristopher Ashcraft; and great grandchildren: Audrina Barkley, Cody Barkley, Ariella Romero, Oliver Romero, Bentley Jackson, Braxton Jackson, Jasper Peterson, Emberlynn Smith, William Phillips. She is also survived by her brothers: Richard Soliday and Mark Wogoman; sister, Letty Kalley; and Catherine Adams.
