Linda Jean (Hodges) Ferrell

Linda Jean (Hodges) Ferrell was born September 10, 1951, in Anadarko, Oklahoma, to Harold Eugene and Twila Belle (Repp) Hodges. She passed away on Tuesday, March 3, with her family by her side at her home in Apache. She was 68.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, March 5, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Crews Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 6, at 10:00 A.M. at the Apache Pentecostal Holiness Church, with Rev. Caleb McDowell officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Crews Funeral Home.

Linda was a 1969 graduate of Apache High School. She worked at her father’s grocery store, Hodges Food Store. She married Mark Ferrell on October 21, 1982, in Anadarko. She operated a home daycare. She also worked for Woodward's Furniture Store. She enjoyed going camping and playing cards. She was famous for her sugar cookies with pink icing and also loved to cook. She loved her family dearly, especially her children and grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her husband, Mark; daughters: Christi and husband Scott Franklin of Apache, Misty and husband Bobby Lamont of Lawton; grandchildren: Preslea Franklin, McCartney Franklin, Merik Lamont, Dayson Lamont; brother, Jeff and wife Beckey Hodges of Elgin; nieces: Melissa and husband Jay Hunt, Sarah Hodges, Malina Bentley, Ashley and husband Beau Waltrip, Andi Ferrell; and nephews: Kenny and wife Laura Gilliam, Toby and wife Ashley Ferrell, Jory and wife Joy Ferrell, Ryan and wife Gabrielle Nightingale, Chad and wife Andrea Nightingale, Jason and wife Tara Price, Jarrod and wife Noelle Price, Josh and wife Jenny Price, and Justin and wife Calene Price.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Twila Hodges; and sister, Sandy Gilliam.
