Linda Darlene Waeyaert was born on June 11, 1951, in Moline, Illinois to Edgar Paul and Evelyn (Wilhelm) Lee. She passed away at her home in Rush Springs, Oklahoma, on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the age of 75.
She graduated from Turlock High School in Turlock, California. Throughout her working years, she was a familiar and friendly face at several automobile dealerships, where she worked as a receptionist. She spent 18 years with Green Chevrolet and also worked at Mills Chevrolet. Her welcoming personality and many years of dedicated service allowed her to meet and get to know countless people along the way.
Linda found happiness in the simple things in life. She loved watching roadrunners and hummingbirds and enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing. She was always ready to go out for a good meal and could often be found relaxing at home watching westerns or one of her favorite television shows, NCIS. Linda also had a special place in her heart for her beloved collies, who brought her many years of companionship and joy.
Above all else, Linda treasured her family. Nothing meant more to her than spending time with those she loved, especially visiting her grandchildren. The time she shared with them created memories she held close to her heart. Her love for her family, along with the many simple things that brought her joy, will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
