A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, April 6, at 11:00 A.M. at Freedom Biker Church with Billy Morgan officiating. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

Lisa was a 1976 graduate of Duncan High School. She married Steve Alan McFarland on May 28, 1977. Lisa was self-employed as a local dog groomer. She was extremely knowledgeable about dogs and all animals. She groomed various police dogs and for local veterinarians. She loved all her dogs and they loved her. She loved working in her yard and was a fantastic gardener who turned her home into a paradise. She enjoyed doing crafts, painting, sculpting and woodworking. She also enjoyed restoring furniture to its natural condition. She was a great cook.

She was a charter member of Freedom Biker Church where she was active in the Women of Worship group which is also known as "Wacky Old Women." She also helped provide benevolence meals and assist with the bike runs. She was always a willing volunteer. She and Steve enjoyed riding many miles on their Harley-Davidson with her sitting behind him. Lisa celebrated her 50th birthday by going sky-diving and hot air ballooning. She also loved to go hiking and canoeing and rafting on different rivers. Above all, she dearly loved her family. She was a loving, caring wife and mother who made being married seem easy.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Steve; daughter, Lori and husband Luke Schoonover of Duncan; grandson, Max Schoonover; brother, Marty Smith; niece, Mary Smith; and great niece, Quenn Estes. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mike Smith.
