Lloyd Alvin Allgood was born June 8, 1942 in Yuma, Arizona to Norman Dariell Allgood and Ola Ada (Dye) McKinney. He passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at his home in Duncan, Oklahoma with his family at his side. He was 82.

Lloyd graduated from Eunice, New Mexico, High School in 1960. He then graduated from Northeastern State University (Tahlequah, Oklahoma) with a Master's Degree. He was employed as a Journalism teacher for 16 years; installed digitizing inventory for ADP; and worked as a DJ for 2 years. He enjoyed camping, hunting, and playing guitar. He enjoyed learning to play the violin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rose Nettie Morris Allgood; grandson, Daniel Dingal; great grandchildren: Randy, Hope, Faith, Rune Allgood; 1 great-great-granddaughter; brother, Randy Spence; and sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Jack Warford.

Lloyd is survived by his children: Gregory and spouse Tammy Allgood, Rebecca Morris, Zebadiah and spouse Angla Allgood; grandchildren: Samuel and Shannon Allgood, Nathan and Kilah Allgood, James and Elizabeth Allgood, Brian and Rachael Allgood, Brandy and Quinten Williams, Ina Allgood, Katie Allgood, Hayden Allgood, Johannes Morris, Jason Young, Heaven and Jason Lewellyn, Angle and Tyler Poupard, Gershom Dingal, Joseph and Sidney Dingal, Justus and Khloe Dingal; and 34 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers: Benny and Julie Allgood of Norcross, Georgia, Eddie and Sharon Spence of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; and sisters: Kathy and Ron Widel of Yakima, Washington, Deana Spence of Yakima, Washington.
